In 1994, K2 revolutionised the skate industry by introducing the first soft boot for inline skates. With one time, the sport became more comfortable and easier. The patented K2 technology has since given skaters the precision of a hard shell shoe in a new, more comfortable and lighter softboot construction. Today, K2 now uses the tried and tested concept with K2 Ice Skates. The K2 F.I.T. Ice Boa® skate is the top model of our Ice Skate program. All of our skates are equipped with the Softboot® design from K2, but this also scores points with the practical Boa® closure system for easy putting on and taking off. And its Thinsulate® inner shoe with water-repellent coating keeps your feet warm and dry on the ice. In addition, thanks to the reinforced stability cuff for a recreational skate, the shoe offers unusually much stability and grip; and the injection-controlled blades can be easily sharpened – for optimal gliding and stopping, anytime.
