Wetall has selected the best cars for tall people. 147 vehicles were tested. The results show which models are suitable for tall people measuring over 1m90, 2m00, 2m10 or even 2m20.
The concessions
The tests were carried out at Jean Lain Occasions for German models, Jean Lain occasion Nippon for Asian models, Groupe Auto Bernard for Peugeot and Citroën models and Renault for Peugeot and Citroën models. Thank you for your warm welcome. New tests took place at the beginning of February 2022, thanks to the Tesla dealership in Chignin and the Ford dealership in Voglans.
The test protocol
The aim of the tests was to determine which cars corresponded to which height of person. A grid was drawn up to define which models corresponded to which height of driver. A score out of 5 was given to legroom, particularly between the steering wheel and the central space, and another out of 5 to headroom. Comments were also added for each model to justify the choice.
Models tested
Of the 147 vehicles tested, 22 were from Audi, 2 from BMW, 15 from Citroën, 1 from Dacia, 5 from Hyundai, 1 from Jaguar, 1 from Kia, 5 from Lexus, 3 from Mercedes, 1 from Mini, 1 from Nissan, 1 from Opel, 11 from Peugeot, 2 from Porsche, 19 from Renault, 4 from Seat, 1 from Suzuki, 18 from Toyota, 1 from Fiat and 23 from Volkswagen. There were also 3 Tesla models and 10 Ford models.
Which brands are best suited to taller people?
Most brands offer cars suitable for people over 2.10 metres. However, some brands offer many more models accessible to taller people. In general, German brands offer a large number of adapted models, particularly Volkswagen, Audi and BMW. Among the models tested, Seat also offers 4 models suitable for people over 2m20. Contrary to popular belief, Asian brands also offer a number of models suitable for people over 2.10 metres, although these are still a notch below the German models. French brands offer a few models for people over 2.10 m, but proportionately fewer than their German or Asian counterparts.
Limits of the study
If models other than those on the list were released after 2022, the information should be disregarded, as it may have changed with new models. This list applies very well to the models tested, but not necessarily to subsequent models.

Twenty-five models are eligible at 2m20 and over for Wetall. Here they are:
